A sick man turned to his doctor and said, "Doctor, I am afraid to die, tell me what is on the other side".

Quietly, the doctor said, "I don't know".

"But you are a Christain man and you don't know?"

The doctor had his hand on the doorknob and heard scratching and whining from the other side.

As he opened the door, a dog sprang in and leaped on the doctor with an eager show of gladness.

Turning to the patient the doctor said, "This is my dog who has never been in this room and didn't know what was inside except that his master was here but when I opened the door, he sprang in without fear. I know little of what is on the other side of death but I know my Master is there and that's enough for me".
