William R. Henry Jr.
William R. “Bill” Henry, Jr., age 73, of Vandalia passed away at 9:40 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 in Hospice of Dayton. Born on July 21, 1942 in Dayton, Bill was a son of the late William and Pearl (Alexander) Henry. He married Suzanne Estep on November 28, 1970 and she survives in Vandalia. Bill is also survived by three children: Lynette Henry of Houston, TX, Jennifer (Forrest) Harshbarger of Springboro, OH, and Bryan Henry of Dayton. He was a loving papaw to Hailie, Adrian, Bryley, and Hannah. Two sisters also survive Bill: Sue (Ronnie) Cox of Dayton, Mary (Paul) Boling of TN, and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Debbie Sexton and Nancy Heindl.
Bill worked at Chrysler for 35 years. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #742 of Farmersville. He was an avid Ohio sports fan. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Miamisburg Christian Church, 1147 E. Central Avenue, Miamisburg, OH 45342 with Pastor Mike Tuttle presiding. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the memorial services beginning at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
