Dolores L. White
Dolores L. White, age 85 formerly of Vandalia, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 10, 2015 after a short illness. Dolores was born on July 29, 1929 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Frank & Collette (Omlor) Clarke. Dolores was a charter member of St. Christopher Church in Vandalia. She enjoyed being an Avon representative in the Vandalia are for over 30 years.
She is survived by her children Linda von Mohr, Jim (Sue) White, Ken (Mariana) White, and Carol (Rick) McCoy, granddaughters Erika Douglass, Allison White, Caitlin White, and Amanda Pitstick, grandsons Stephen von Mohr, Kody McCoy, Devin McCoy, and a great grandson Drew Douglass.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years Robert L. White, her parents, step father John Thomas, son-in-law Steve von Mohr, and a granddaughter Sara McCoy
Dolores was a devoted wife and mother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, February 13, 2015 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the BLESSING-ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 435 East National Road, Vandalia, with Father Frank Keferl officiating. The family will also receive friends on Saturday at the church from 9:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
