Marvin H. Sauner, age 78 of Vandalia, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born in Jamestown, New York on October 4, 1939 the son of Marvin Carl & Alicia (Creel) Norman. He retired from Deuer Manufacturing after 32 years and then started TECA Manufacturing with Jack Spencer in 2005.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Letha (Myers) Sauner, son Bruce Sauner, daughter Mitzi (John) McConkey; grandsons A.J. (Beth) Tarkany and Christian (Maria) Tarkany; great grandchildren Neva, Joey, and Ivory Tarkany; and many special friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and step brothers.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the BLESING-ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Todd Hoskins officiating.
