Edith Parsley
Edith Parsley, 91, of New Carlisle passed away Friday, February 5, 2016 at Day View Care Center. She was born on July 27th, 1924 in Jackson County, Kentucky to the late Albert & Rosa (Hacker) Combs.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Everett Parsley; son, Kenneth Lee Parsley; one brother, Sammy Combs; three sisters, Opal Combs, Pauline Wagner, and Kathleen Estridge.
She is survived by a son, Roger Parsley; daughter, Audrey (Rick) Litteral; granddaughter, Brittany; and grandson, Austin; Sisters, Lina West and Elizabeth Moore; and one brother, J.M. Combs; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and family.
The family would like to thank the entire staff of Day View Care Center for their many years of care and friendship they gave Edith, and for the compassion and comfort they gave the family during this difficult time.
The family will be receiving visitors on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, at the Blessing-Zerkle Funeral Home, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City, Ohio. A funeral service will follow on Friday at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Davenport officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
