Janice Marie Merch, age 81 of Kettering passed away Monday, December 14, 2015 at Grandview Hospital. She was born in Covington, Ohio on June 11, 1934 the daughter of Leo B. & Helen Josephine (Simmons) Hentrich. She retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base after over 20 years working in various jobs.

She is survived by her daughter Teresa (Craig) Horn, daughter-in-law Carla Ungerecht, 3 granddaughters Rebecca (Andrew) Gross, Katie Horn, and Sarah (Adam) Bell, and 2 great grandchildren AJ Gross and Meredith Bell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Michael J. Merch, and a brother Leo J. Hentrich.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Services have been entrusted to the BLESSING-ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, Tipp City. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.blessingfh.com.
