Obituary for
Rosemary Deaton
Rosemary Deaton, age 84 of Casstown, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born in Troy, Ohio on February 24, 1931 the daughter of William & Isabel (Neff) Rudisill. She was a member of the Jr. Canteen Girls during WWII, worked over 20 years at the Villa Nursing Home in Troy.
She is survived by her 4 children Deborah (Ned) Meierhoefer of Cleveland, Tenn., Rex Deaton of Radcliff, Ky., Richard (Cheryl) Deaton of Troy, Ohio, Dianna (Eddie) Deaton of Troy, Ohio, 10 grandchildren Michelle Young, Danny Meierhoefer, Betsy Deaton, Shorn Deaton, Jeremy Deaton, Amy Ferguson, Jason Deaton, and Danielle Hivner, Step grandchildren BJ and Dennis, 8 great grandchildren Charlotte, Bailey, William, Cameron, Celine, Brayden, step great grandchildren Amber and Hope, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 56 years Hubert Deaton in 2007, and 5 brothers and sisters Harriet Beavers, Bonnie Weaver, Nanette James, William Rudisill, and David Rudisill.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 12:00 – 1:00 pm at the BLESSING-ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
