Frederick Willard Fiebiger, age 89 of Troy, formerly of Huber Heights, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015 in Brookdale Senior Living, Fairborn. He was born in Versailles, Ohio on July 14, 1925 the son of Ester & Alma E. (Thompson) Fiebiger. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served in WWII. He retired in 1990 from General Motors after 44 years and 4 months.

He is survived by his children Gary (Patricia) Fiebiger of Troy, Frederick (Sheila) Fiebiger of Huber Heights, Sharon (Joe) Williams of Florida, and Marianne (James) Blake of Kentucky, 10 grandchildren Jody Borgerding, Josh Fiebiger, Lucas Fiebiger, Andrea Barnett, Brandon Blake, Roger Smith, Mark Smith, Heather Wimberly, Luke Blair, and Laura Lokai, 16 great grandchildren, a brother Guy Fiebiger, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 67 years Anna Fiebiger in 2013 and numerous brothers, sisters and in-laws.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, June 1, 2015 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm in the BLESSING-ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 12:00 pm in the funeral home with Chaplain Jim Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
