Georgia Alberta Vance, age 78 of Tipp City, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2014 in Springmeade Nursing Home, Tipp City. She was born in Sidney, Ohio on July 18, 1936 the daughter of George & Mary (Evans) Lovett. She was a graduate of Sidney High School, worked for over 25 years at Rike’s Department Store at the Salem Mall, and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Church of God.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Vic Vance, mother Mary Lovett, 3 children Vicki (Steve) Arnett, Rita (Steve) Kinzig, and Gordon (Maggie) Vance, 8 grandchildren Brian (Erica) Arnett, Brent (Mandy) Arnett, Stephanie (Jeremy) Dixon, Ash Sweet, Adrienne (Seth) Kettel, Dustin Vance, Veronica (Matt) Beisner, and Andrew (Desiree) Vance, 11 great grandchildren Emma, Mallory, Cody, & Ellie Arnett, Jenna Dixon, Elijah, Reagan, Samuel & Jacob Kettel, Ashton Beisner, and Brayden Vance and a brother Gerald (Lucy) Lovett.

She was preceded in death by her father and a brother Gary Lovett.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm in the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 10:30 am in the funeral home with Pastor Scott Deane officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
