Wallace L. Johnson, age 77 of Huber Heights passed away Sunday, October 10, 2010 in the VA Medical Center, Dayton. He was born in Albemarle, North Carolina on December 9, 1932 the son of Clay & Diza (Morton) DeBerry. He was a member of the New Carlisle Sportsman’s Club and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Christian Life Center in Vandalia. He retired from General Motors.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years Nancy L. (Murrell) Johnson, son Timothy C. (Sara-Jane) Johnson, daughter Tamara (Larry) Navarre, and 3 grandchildren Samantha Johnson, Zachary Navarre and Robert Navarre.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Robert Johnson, and a sister Peggy Bagby.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City, Ohio 45371. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Stan Tharp officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
